About the Author

While maintaining a full time, booming chiropractic practice in Walnut Creek, Ca., Dr. Michael Gazdar is on the faculty of Life Chiropractic College West as a part time instructor in Chiropractic Technique. He also runs weekend seminars for both students and postgraduate chiropractors. He has lectured on chiropractic throughout the United States and Japan.

Holding a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.) credential, and with an extensive sports background himself, he has treated serious athletes across a spectrum of sporting events.

Dr. Gazdar has lived in the San Francisco Bay area all his life. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1976, attended Diablo Valley College, and earned a B. A. Degree in psychology from U. C. Berkeley in 1984. He did Master's work in clinical psychology at Cal State, Hayward. He and his wife, Teri, have been married since 1991. They have two children.
